Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 26, 2026. Gradient SEO is built on principles of minimal data collection and complete technical transparency.
1. Overview and Core Philosophy
Gradient SEO ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website gradientseo.com. We believe that privacy is an engineering requirement. We do not monetize personal user data, sell profile segments to advertisers, or deploy invasive cross-site fingerprinting scripts.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect data strictly necessary to deliver high-performance editorial research:
- Server Access Logs: Standard HTTP request telemetry (IP address, user agent, requested URI, timestamp, and HTTP response code) logged transiently for security and DDoS mitigation.
- Local Theme Preferences: When you use our theme toggle button (Dark / Light Mode), your selection is stored locally on your device via
localStorage.setItem('theme'). This data never leaves your browser. - No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not run advertising pixels, programmatic retargeting networks, or third-party behavioral analytics.
3. Machine-Readable Content & Crawlers
We openly facilitate ethical indexing by search engines and AI agents. We provide transparent directive files including /llms.txt and /rss.xml. We do not inject deceptive prompt injections or cloaking payloads into automated crawler responses.
4. Data Retention and Security
Server access logs are hosted on Cloudflare Pages and edge infrastructure, retained for a maximum of 30 days for infrastructure health monitoring, and automatically purged. All connections are enforced via TLS 1.3 encryption.
5. Contact & Governance
